What is Colt Emerson's walk-up song?

Colt Emerson's walk-up song is "It's A Great Day To Be Alive" by Travis Tritt, last confirmed in 2026 with the Seattle Mariners. Hear the 30-second preview below before picking it for your own team. Emerson plays shortstop and wears #4. Confirmed on the official MLB walk-up music page (2026-10-15).

Seattle walkup music is anchored by Julio Rodríguez's Latin walkup picks (he's used a rotation of bachata, merengue, and reggaeton tracks) and the Mariners pitching staff's heavy rock leanings. For more on the Mariners' walkup tradition and other current roster picks, see the Seattle Mariners walkup page.

Use Colt Emerson's walkup style for your team

Whether you coach Little League, travel ball, high school, or college baseball, picking a walkup song from a star like Emerson is one of the cleanest ways to give a kid confidence at the plate. The trick: most MLB walkups need a careful trim point — the 15-second window is rarely the song's first 15 seconds.

1. Build your roster in Walkup Pro
2. Search "It's A Great Day To Be Alive" by Travis Tritt and assign it to the player who picked it
3. Set a custom trim point so only the best 15-20 seconds plays — most often the chorus or the drop, not the intro
4. Connect a Bluetooth speaker at the field and tap to play on game day
