What is Tyler Soderstrom's walk-up song?

Tyler Soderstrom's walk-up song is "Rocketeer" by Far East Movement, last confirmed in 2026 with the Athletics. Hear the 30-second preview below before picking it for your own team. Soderstrom plays left fielder and wears #21. Confirmed on the official MLB walk-up music page (2026-09-27).

The Athletics' walkup culture is in a transition era — between the Oakland Coliseum and a Sacramento home in 2025-2027 before Las Vegas, the team's walkup moments have been quieter than usual. For more on the Athletics' walkup tradition and other current roster picks, see the Athletics walkup page.

How "Rocketeer" compares across MLB

"Rocketeer" is a 2011 Pop track running 4:33, from Rocketeer (Remixes) [feat. Ryan Tedder] - EP. Soderstrom is the only player in MLB we currently have walking up to it.

• Henry Bolte — Center Fielder · "The Difference"

Use Tyler Soderstrom's walkup style for your team

Whether you coach Little League, travel ball, high school, or college baseball, picking a walkup song from a star like Soderstrom is one of the cleanest ways to give a kid confidence at the plate. The trick: most MLB walkups need a careful trim point — the 15-second window is rarely the song's first 15 seconds.

1. Build your roster in Walkup Pro
2. Search "Rocketeer" by Far East Movement and assign it to the player who picked it
3. Set a custom trim point so only the best 15-20 seconds plays — most often the chorus or the drop, not the intro
4. Connect a Bluetooth speaker at the field and tap to play on game day
